Access Statement for Imagine Apartments
Introduction
Our aim is to meet the needs of all guests that stay in our serviced apartments in Liverpool City Centre.
The following statement is a summary of our provision, if you have any specific questions please feel free contact us for further assistance.
Pre-Arrival
You can contact us via phone or email during normal office hours

We have text facility to enable us to arrange to meet you at the apartments if guests have a late arrival
Liverpool Lime street station is 5 minutes walk away
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 20 minutes away by taxi, airport express 500 bus service between airport and city centre stops a few minutes walk from us on Renshaw Street.
Local bus stop on Renshaw Street (same road as apartment) or main local bus station in Queens square is 5 minutes walk
There is a local taxi service that has accessible taxis if required (London cab style) and we can assist with making bookings if required
We have a basic website
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There are pay & display parking bays in front of the apartment and a 24 hour multi story car park 3 minutes walk away in Mount Pleasant.
The surface in front of the entrance is paving stones.
No dropped kerb
No provision for dogs
Signage is all in English, black and red bold text on opaque glass background
There is an intercom/call button to allow access
We greet all our guests on arrival and can assist with luggage when necessary
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area
Entry to building has one 12cm step from pavement and has a single leaf door 121 cm wide, handle located 130cm from floor, reach of 150cm required to insert key, intercom located 170cm from floor
Door mat in entrance leading to a corridor 8mtr long 1mtr 21cm wide carpeted then 21 stairs to first apartment
Emergency contact number for guests 24 hours a day
Entrance hall lit by fluorescent light very little natural daylight.
All guests are greeted on arrival
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
The building has no lifts
Corridors throughout the building have heavy pile dark carpet
Lighting in public areas is fluorescent bulbs, no natural daylight in areas, lighting is on permanently as are emergency lights
Stairs to all floors have handrails and stairs have heavy pile dark carpet
All corridor doors have fire doors, non assisted, width is 84cm

Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas
Bedrooms in three apartments are on the same level as rest of apartment. One apartment has a duplex layout with upstairs bedroom on open mezzanine level

Lighting by natural daylight all bedrooms have windows, as well as ceiling lighting and two additional bedside lamps
Single divan beds in most apartments, One apartment has two singles and one double divan bed

Two bedroom apartments have a spacious bathroom with bath/mixer shower, toilet, sink and shower cubicle which is a curved design, door slide to gives a gap of 55cm tray height is 24cm and controls are 107cm from shower tray for thermostatic mixer shower
1 bedroom apartment and the duplex design two bedroom apartment have bath with mixer shower above with fixed curved perspex shower screen. Compact design gives minimal floor space in this facility
Bathroom floors are ceramic tiles
Doors are single leaf, door width to all bathrooms is 76cm
Toilet heights are all 44cm, no grab rails
Bath height is 55cm, no bath seat
All bathrooms have non slip bathmats

Facilities include Fan oven with electric hob and separate microwave on counter top
Some cooking items/pans/cutlery are in below counter cupboards
Most crockery and glassware are in high level wall mounted cupboards, base 49cm above counter top

Entrance to all apartments has a fire door which opens outward to a space 106cm by 88cm leading directly to apartment front door which opens inwards
Apartment halls: 2 bedroom apartment narrowest part 89cm, 1 bedroom apartment has compact hall narrowest part 89cm
Intercom phone to open building door for visitors - buzzes and has visual link to show image, height is 140cm from floor
Light switches are all at a level of 110cm from ground
